Culinary Workshop: Tamale Making
Looking for a way to bring friends together? Join us in the kitchen and get hands-on as Luis shows us how to make traditional mexican tamales! Learn this unique method, utilized by the Aztecs, to prepare colorful and flavorful stuffed cornmeal masa, steamed in cornhusks. Luis will help us prepare 3 different variations of tamales (two savory & one sweet). Bring your favorite beer or wine to enjoy while we make (and eat) tamales together!
Chicken in salsa verde (made with tomatillos, cilantro and jalapeño pepper)
Pork loin in salsa roja (made with dried pasilla pepper)
- Drunken Mango for that sweet tooth
